Surrounded by the boutiques and western cafes on the edges of the ShiDa night market, this small glass-front shop lines its shelves with enough knick-knacks and gewgaws to satisfy even the most obscurantist pop-culture aficionado. These nostalgic treasures, seemingly out of the cereal boxes of the 1980s and collector catalogs from Hollywood, include everything from Max Headroom pins to more Star Wars kitsch than you could shake a lightsaber at.

A perfect fit for ShiDa's endless love of the lowbrow, Meal 8 also can complete whatever look you might have cobbled together from the hordes of streetside vendors. What's particularly cool here are the accessories--lots and lots of earrings, sunglasses, rings, and necklaces, all in that style that just somehow unites your grandmother with fine arts majors.
