Dear travellers in Taiwan, after traveling around Taipei, have you been to the beautiful lake in Xindian District? The lake is called ''Bitan''.
Bitan literally means Green Lake , referring to where the Xidian River
When you visit Bitan, other than the beautiful scenery and bridge, there are many outdoor activities you can visit with your friends. There are Swan Paddles you can hire for 30mins to 1 hours on the lake, its great fun and also a good way to exercise. When you need a break, you may want to enjoy some food or a cup of coffee in one of the many restaurants and café right above the river bank. There are also many Taiwanese food stands and shops around, maybe I will save some for you to explore!!How to get to Bitan?
Catch the MRT to Xingdian(新店), the terminal station on Green line.
